Came here last night to celebrate a friend's engagement and they provided a great experience!
The space is huge so we were able to get a large table in a quieter more private area on their side patio where we could enjoy the nice weather. Our server was great about checking in on our party for refills and making sure we had everything we need. We ordered a charcuterie board, some giant pretzels, meatballs, and a few pizzas for the party to share and everything was delicious.
I haven't been hitting the brewery scene as often as I used to but this place is always towards the top of that list. The fact that they house two breweries under one roof means they have a massive selection of beers to choose from so you are bound to find something you like, and their massive bar makes it quick and easy to order a drink or you have the option to take a seat and get table service. Whether you are coming for dinner, a large party, or just to grab a beer this place should be on your radar! -

I've been here so many times because it is a crowd pleaser! 3 breweries in one makes it easy to satisfy many people in one place. Today and many times we have felt a very rushed and impersonal experience.
Today we came in, the host stand said there was no waits we placed a beer order which came quickly. Our 3 top order an app and 2 pizzas to share. The pizzas came out before our app and then we had no silverware for our app! Now I will give the server credit for telling us the kitchen was behind but he stated to us "your app may come with your entrees since the kitchen is behind". But for it to come way behind and for us not to be able to enjoy it when it arrived it not acceptable!
Our server mentioned at 6:20 that several servers had been cut and he ended up with a ton of tables. Honestly as someone who worked service industry for a very long time I'm not sure why servers would ever be cut before 8pm on a Saturday.
I think when it comes to food service the restaurant has a lot of room for improvements!! -

Loved this place! This place is HUGE! Has lots of tvs inside so we were able to watch football while we were there.
They're food menu is pretty good. Can't recommend the loaded fries enough!
We were really impressed by the customer service here.
Dog friendly patio, cornhole, and covered patio area make this place a great spot to hang out with friends and your pup.
The pumpkin chai beer is the greatest thing I've ever tasted, hands down. -

This was my second time visiting Brewers. The first time was with a Yelp event and I 100% knew I was going to come back. I like this place and the atmosphere. It is a good spot to hang out for large groups . It's spacious with lots of outdoor and patio seating. I love the rustic decor and the expose brewery .
I ordered the Brewer Wings . I asked for Buffalo because the menu shows different flavors but apparently it's the sauces that come with it not necessarily your wings being tossed in it.
Sauces :
Lemon Ginger- flavor was good but it was a thin , runny sauce . I didn't like the consistency.
Buffalo- This was good , loved it with some ranch
SC Mustard - I only tried this once. Not a fan of mustard and wings . I would use the mustard with their sharable pretzels
Slice pickles confused me and I'm unsure why they are served with wings. I didn't like them . They were spicy lol .
The service was average nothing that wow'ed me. They do close a little earlier than other bars so come early . -

This is my favorite Charlotte brewery!
I'm not sure why I am just now reviewing it but better late than never I guess. In short, Yancey is a massive space, they have great parking options, they have a huge number of beers on tap, and there's always somewhere to sit - table or bar. What's not to like?
On top of that, the beers they do have rotate with the seasons and they have some really good food on the menu. 1000% be sure to get the chai pumpkin beer when it comes available in the fall. BEST BEER EVER.
They've got a million TV's and places to chill and play games outside if that's your thing instead. Looking for a casual dinner with some nice beer? Yancey. Looking for a place to grab a drink before an event? Yancey. Looking to hang with some friends for NFL Sunday? Yancey.
Really you can't go wrong at Yancey and you'll be glad whenever you visit.
